Privacy
Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) governs how private-sector organizations in Alberta collect, use and disclose personal information. We handle personal information in line with PIPA and with our professional duty of confidentiality.
What we collect. When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), the area of law and your message.
Why we collect it. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to check for conflicts of interest, and to decide whether we can assist you. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet our professional obligations, and are then securely deleted. [Confirm retention period.]
